IMPORTANCE OF RESIKLOS IN THE POST PANDEMIC WORLD

Updated: Apr 20, 2023

Resiklos is bridging Web2 and Web3 with real-world solutions that can scale up in the post-pandemic world. Integrating blockchain technology to deliver social and economic value would spur economic growth and prosperity equitably and inclusively while preserving the environment.

In addition to supporting more equitable, inclusive innovation, Resiklos can help fundamentally strengthen our deteriorated economy. The enormously detrimental consequences of COVID-19 on our environment and social-financial issues have intensified pressure on the government, social enterprises, NGOs, businesses, and other institutions. Our oceans are slowly turning into a plastic paradise, and the effects on ocean life are devastating. Discarded plastic fishing lines entangle turtles and seabirds, and plastic pieces of all sizes choke and clog the stomachs of creatures who mistake it for food, from tiny zooplankton to whales. Plastic is in every level of the ocean food chain and even ends up in the seafood on our plates.

COVID-19 triggered an estimated global use of 129 billion face masks and 65 billion gloves monthly. If the countries stitched together all of the masks manufactured already and projected to be produced, they have been able to cover the entire landmass of the Netherlands. These challenges have caused many to fold. In short, if the people in the current situation are not educated enough on the negative long-term effect of plastic pollution, the same level of struggle with the pandemic is set to continue.

People must collectively think big and faster as the problem exponentially grows and gathers speed. The sustainable solution strategies of Resiklos in the digital transformation of plastic waste management built a solid financial restructuring for social entrepreneurs and different organizations to deliver more scalable, robust, and structural solutions to fight plastic pollution. Educating the community using games and incentive mechanisms, a blockchain-based approach with a future-proof store of value for plastic exchange is better than existing waste management protocols. When full transparency of the entire global plastic supply chain exists, the decisions made by governments, business sectors, and waste institutions will become more tactical and ultimately rooted in fact and fundamental science. Resiklos bridging Web2 to Web3 comes in; when the data is readily available will allow all stakeholders to have efficient and effective decision-making.

The world demands that each one of us must take responsibility for the plastic pollution crisis and improve our behavior in the proper segregation at home when all the stakeholders can embrace this fundamental mindset turned into technology toward urgency and not just wave the red flag but act on it, the prevention of the marine life extinction, can be prevented by 2050. There is a need for an impact investing strategy that aims to generate specific beneficial environmental effects that may result in a faster economic bounce back. Part of the strategy is to provide a plastic offsetting platform that pays for the ethical collection of plastic waste. This new approach by which Resiklos aims to fund social and environmental impact may trigger different organizations to curb the 380 million tones of plastic worldwide.
